Chocolate Avocado Mint Bars
FRIENDS! We have to share this divine recipe.
So, obviously, we promote oral health but did you know our jars can be used in other ways such as recipes? They add a great addition to baked and raw treats!
We were experimenting in the kitchen and made the most delicious treats ever with our Coconut Peppermint Oil. Find the recipe below!
1 cup (145g) raw walnuts or almonds
A handful of brazil nuts
1 cup (175g) raw pitted dates
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 avocado, peeled and pitted
3 tablespoons (45ml) melted Coconut Peppermint Oil
3-4 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 banana or 1 cup fresh young coconut meat
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
3 tablespoons (23g) cacao powder
3 tablespoons (45ml) melted coconut oil
2 tablespoons (40g) pure maple syrup
TO MAKE THE BASE:
Pulse all the ingredients in a food processor until they stick together. Press evenly into the bottom of a lined 9-inch square baking pan. Put in the fridge while you make the next layer.
TO MAKE THE MIDDLE:
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and thick, then spread over your base later and put back in the fridge.
TO MAKE THE TOP:
Mix all the ingredients together until smooth, pour evenly on top of your middle layer and put in the fridge or freezer. If you want a more thick topcoat, double the top ingredients and blend to make more! We sprinkled coconut flakes on top but feel free to garnish with hemp seeds, cacao nibs, coconut, or whatever waters your tastebuds!
